About Madhu
Chulanga Madhubashini (Madhu) is a project officer for the Sri Lanka project to achieve economic self-sustainability for People with Disabilities through inclusion and mainstreaming with employers.

Madhu is the project officer responsible for conducting and reporting on physical accessibility audits for facilities of businesses, training schemes and lending organisations in Sri Lanka. Although she is responsible for accessibility audits, her main focus is the creation of awareness and delivery of disability inclusion, disability etiquette and disability sensitisation training. She is a charismatic speaker and has a great talent for training and mentoring. She has appeared on TV talk shows and has spoken widely on disability inclusion on the Sri Lankan national radio promoting the programme.

Madhu hopes to be one of the people attending a course to train all the government Career Guidance Officers to include disabled people in their future training programmes.

People with Faces
It will cost £31 pounds per person to conduct the training, the whole 3 day course will cost £1050 for 34 people. With your help, this training will support disabled people to achieve and sustain economic self-sufficiency and is a real opportunity to ensure long term access to career and employment opportunities for disabled people.

Motivation

Motivation's mission is to enhance the quality of life of people with mobility disabilities by addressing their survival, mobility, empowerment and inclusion.
